Wholistic Music Specialist
Drum Circle Facilitator
Motivational Musician and Speaker
Robert loves circles. Drums are circular. Therefore, Robert loves drums.
He was a preacher and a pastor for quite a while. Then the music became everything. So he’s been lately listening to the call of that Muse. He’s always been a singer. He even sings in front of people. And sometimes he inspires other people to sing. Even in front of people.
He brought music to the bedsides of dying people while he was a hospice Chaplain. He’s introduced hand drumming to men in prison, to people with Alzheimers Disease and residents of assisted living and rehabilitative facilities. He has discovered that drums have a magical power to connect people at the heart.
Especially when people are in circles. Robert loves circles.
Lately, Robert has been making wood art. Some of his pieces are on display at Sage Center.
Robert and his wife Robin live with their German Shepherd, Lulu, their chickens and a couple grown up kids in Woodbury. They have a healing practice called Sage Center for Wholeness. Robert is the Music Director at the Mattatuck Unitarian Universalist Society, where he has been facilitating a biweekly drum circle for nearly 6 years.
